You can assign different permissions for EVALARM users when you create different user roles.

The authorizations refer to various elements and functions of EVALARM and can be assigned individually:

  • The mobile control station, the cockpit in the Web console
  • The management of the entire location and App structure
  • Access to documents, contacts and maps
  • The scope of use of the app
  • Access to the analyses of past alerts in the alert archive.

Overview user roles

The user role has to be selected when creating a new user. Depending on the user role, you have access to certain functions:

Who can:

  1. Do everything: Administrator
  2. Receive, create, edit and end alarms: Emgergency & crisis team supervisor
  3. Receive, create and edit alarms:  Emgergency & crisis team member
  4. Receive and create alarms: Employee
  5. Receive alarms: Guest

Furthermore there are the user roles Super Administrator and Super User.

For the guest user role, you can set whether users can log on as a guest in the Web console.

Users with the guest role require the (namespace) short-cut for the location to log on. Users who log on as guest are automatically assigned to the guest user role.

You can find an overview of the individual permissions and editability of each user role here: (Download).

Customize user roles

For individual functions, the authorizations can be individually configured according to the table and depending on the user role.

Find the option for this in the location management among the settings.

The permissions of the user roles can be individually assigned for each type of alert.

In principle, you can configure whether a user role is able to do the following:

  1. Alert triggering
  2. View FD-Plan (if configurated)
  3. May look at route maps (if configurated).

Additionally, you can also assign user groups with the ability to trigger specific alerts.
