EVALARM Update 2.1.3

Dear customers and partners,

We are pleased to announce EVALARM Update 2.1.3 (system version/API).

The update will be carried out on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 in the early evening.

This is not a major release, so your apps installed at the time of the update will continue to work and you will not be logged out!

The latest app versions (Android 2.1.5 or iOS 2.1.5) are already available in the respective app stores from today. Even if the previous app versions continue to work, we ask you to install the latest app version.

Below, we would like to present our new features and enhancements.




New Module: Real-Time Translation

With the Real-Time Translation functionality, alarm contents (user inputs) can be translated in real-time into different languages. Real-Time Translation is a separate module. For further information, please feel free to contact us.




Workflow Health Check

With the "Health Check," you can verify if your workflows are operational. You can check which users are currently available for which event.

The Health Check is available to the administrator as an Excel export.




Revision of Automatic Alarm Escalation

The automatic alarm escalation has been revised. It is now possible to initiate an alarm escalation flexibly based on an alarm level or building sector.




New Functionality for Silent Alarm Tone

The "Silent" ringtone has been adjusted. Now no sound is played both during the alarm and during an alarm update or ending.




Company Name and Location of Users (EVALARM Location) Visible in Alarm

Since the release of the connectors, an increasing number of customers interact across an EVALARM location. To continue making the alarm process transparent, the alarm will now display the user's location and company.




Additional Features & Changes:

  • Sending of external alarms (across locations) is now also possible for users with the roles "Employee" or "Guest"
  • Improved performance when sending alarms via email
  • Links in the alarm in the web cockpit are now clickable and open in a new browser tab
  • Bug fixes, optimizations, and stability improvements
