EVALARM offers you the possibility to connect our partner SOS control center to your location quickly and easily.
The email automatically generated by the SOS control center has the form shown on the right.
The boxes marked in red are of particular importance when reading.
"Leistung: 001", defines the detector number: 001.
"tk: 12ab3" stands for the token.
"Kennung: 1000001" defines the zone number
The detector group number and the detector number must be stored for an alarm system in the respective building section of your company location. How you can create this information in your company location is explained in the following article under "Step 2 link the alarm system with the building structure:".
SOS Control Panel Configuration
Step 1 Creation of the SOS control center:
To connect the SOS control center with your company location, select “Alarm Devices” under Processes in the first step.
Under the Email Systems tab, click on “Create New Email System” Enter your SOS terminal configuration with a desired name and prefix. SOS control center must be selected as the type. Then select a desired creator.
The creator must have the authorization to start the alarm type. If the desired user is not displayed to you, you must first give them authorization to trigger the alarm. You can find out how to grant the user authorization here.
Now the alarm type must be selected, which should be triggered by the email from the SOS control center.
Finally, enter the token (only the number without tk :) from the email from the SOS control center in the "tk:" field. In this example "12ab3" and press Create to save your settings.
Step 2 link the alarm system with the building structure:
In order for the corresponding building structure to be selected automatically when the alarm is triggered, it must first be linked to the alarm system. A building structure must be created for this. You can find out how to create a building structure here.
Select the building, alarm, room section (s) which should be linked.
In this example, the alarm section "Alarm sector 2" is to be linked.
The alarm section can be edited by "clicking" on the eye symbol.
Select the Alarm systems tab and click on "Add a new configuration".
Enter a "1" in the "ID of the alarm system" field and the corresponding zone or detector number. From the email example above from an SOS control center, we can see that when the alarm is triggered, detector 001 from detector group 1000001 should be triggered. Then click on "Create" to save your entries.
You have now connected the Simplex BMA to your EVALARM company location.
Step 3 test alarm:
After you have configured the SOS control center in your EVALARM company location, you should test whether everything is working properly.
To do this, send the email generated by the SOS control center to the relevant email address.
You can find the email address in your Simplex Alarms configuration in Alarm Devices by clicking on the gear symbol.
After sending the email, the alarm should appear in your cockpit.
Congratulation! You have successfully connected the SOS control center to your EVALARM company location.
